On October 13 and 14, the National Meeting of Youth in Action: Popular Government and Seven Transformations is held with the participation of state directors from the 25 states of the country. The activity, which takes place at the headquarters of the Great Young Venezuela Mission in Caracas, aims to territorialize public policies and strengthen youth protagonism in the process of national transformation.
During the activity, the Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lottartaro, indicated that it is necessary to deploy in all sectors where youth operate to attract young men and women, as well as promote projects in social and communication matters; “We must take over the spaces, stay in the territory with the people, listen to the proposals of the communities and humanize the needs of young people.”
Likewise, the president of the Great Young Venezuela Mission, Génesis Garvet, recalled that Venezuelan youth is the first generation to assume the responsibility of promoting a revolutionary process and called for maintaining unity in the face of imperial aggression.
Likewise, the general secretary of the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) Grecia Colmenares, highlighted that youth leadership must move through new organizational forms in terms of resistance, “we must focus on our range of action, know what we have to do and what we can contribute.”
For her part, the national organizer of the JPSUV, América Pérez, stated that Venezuela is the epicenter of the great changes and transformations that the world is experiencing, while calling to defeat the cognitive war through popular mobilization.
