Young women who entered directly into the office of the President of the Republic, José Jeríobtained days or weeks after those meetings with the president, contracts and service orders in various entities of the State, as revealed last night by Cuarto Poder.
Among them is Guadalupe Vela Ramírez, an environmental engineer, who visited the presidential office on at least two occasions, including on a holiday and until around midnight. Twenty days after one of those meetings, she obtained a service order from Essalud and, shortly after, a contract as a locator from the Ministry of the Environment.
On November 1, also a holiday, the entry of Rubiel Cristina Beraun Rojas appears, who after the meeting was hired by the Presidential Office itself for internal communication tasks.
That same day Violeta Emperatriz Beas Otero also entered, whose visit lasted until late at night. A month later, Beas was appointed head of the National Youth Secretariat, an entity attached to the Ministry of Education.
The scheme is repeated with Fiorella Jannette Melgarejo Sánchez, a lawyer who registered several direct visits to the president’s office in October. Days later, coincidentally, he obtained a service order in the Presidential Office itself.
The list closes with Alicia Camargo, who entered the presidential office at night and, just three days later, was hired as a locator in the General Secretariat of the Government Palace. In all cases, the visits did not go through human resources offices or public selection processes.
MINISTERS TO CONGRESS
Meanwhile, today the Minister of the Interior, Vicente Tiburcio, and of Energy and Mines, Luis Bravo, must appear before the Congressional Oversight Commission to explain the questioned relationship of President Jerí with Chinese businessmen.
