The young man from Santa Cruz who won international robotics competitions, Yulin Jorge Wang Jallaza, now shares his experience and knowledge with children and adolescents who have the same passion for technological innovation and the Departmental Directorate of Education of Santa Cruz has recognized him for his ‘extraordinary talent’.
Yulin Jorge, only 18 years old, He now teaches at the School of Robotics and Advanced Technology (TechHome) and with their primary and secondary students have created new robots to participate in national Science and Technology competitions.
This weekend, children and adolescents guided by Yulin Jorge competed in the Second Robotics Competition organized by the Domingo Savio University and they won in all six categories who participated.
“With my students we won four gold medals, three silver and one bronze in the categories of Insect, Sumo, Labyrinth and Line Follower, Amateur and Professional. This makes me feel very happy because in addition, my group, for being the one that won the most medals, was awarded a registration to be able to use their engines in other inventions,” he explained to EL DEBER.
Among the contestants who won the medals are Yu Long Ricardo Wang Jallaza, 16 years old, who is Yulin Jorge’s brother and at the same time is your student in their robotics classes.
Yu Long Ricardo and Yulin Jorge have also been recognized as ‘extraordinary talents’ by the Departmental Directorate of Education of Santa Cruz and this institution has appointed them as juries for departmental robotics competitions.
“We have been judges in a robotics tournament in the municipality of El Torno and we took the opportunity to demonstrate the progress of our latest inventions that will be presented at a science fair in Oruro, which is organized by Solacyt (Latin American Society of Science and Technology),” commented Yulin Jorge.
Furthermore, the two brothers from Santa Cruz were recognized for their national and international careersince they won world robotics tournaments representing Bolivia, in the Second Robotics Competition that took place at the UPDS.
