This February 12, Youth Day, the university youth leadership and the different political parties will march to demand that the National Electoral Council (CNE) reactivate the electoral registry throughout the country. The young people have summoned the governing body to allow, well in advance, the registration of new voters, in view of the presidential elections that are scheduled for 2024.
On February 7, the student movement announced the mobilization. The march will start from Brión de Chacaíto square and will go to the headquarters of the National Electoral Council located in Plaza Venezuela.

in press conference jonathan carrillo, representative of the Federation of University Centers-UCV, informed that on Youth Day they will take to the streets. “Society can count on the youth to fight and achieve freedom and democracy.”
For his part, Luis Palacios, youth coordinator of Primero Justicia and student leader of the UCV, invited all civil society to join the mobilization on February 12.
