The Minister for Youth and Sports, Mervin Maldonado, was present at the mobilization, who invited the Venezuelan youth to follow the example and legacy of Robert Serra.
“Let’s charge, let’s go compañeros, Venezuelan youth, to battle and to victory,” said Maldonado, in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.

The president of the Venezuelan Student Federation (FVEU), Dave Oliveros, participated in the mobilization, who highlighted Serra’s fight for free and quality education, especially for young women from the most vulnerable families.
“We saw Robert Serra in the National Assembly in 2007 gallantly defending the Bolivarian Revolution because it was the guarantee of the future, of the education we need and that is why we celebrate its 36th anniversary with his phrase: make the revolution irreversible,” he said. during the day, quoted by the Venezuelan News Agency.
In the same way, one of the students of the Portuguesa state and brigade member of the Youth of the Homeland Mission; José Vargas highlighted the mobilization that has been registered throughout the country, in honor of the revolutionary leader.

Robert Serra, born on January 16, 1986 in Maracaibo, Zulia state, became the youngest deputy in the history of the National Assembly.
Consolidate a quality education
In the midst of the mobilization, the young people presented a statement, where they agree to consolidate quality education, recognizing the work of educators who, in the face of the blockade to which the country has been subjected, have not stopped.
They will also focus on deepening the educational quality adapted to the social reality in a project to be carried out in 50 years, as well as working for the inclusion of all children, adolescents and young people in the educational system, and thus reach 100%. of schooling.
