Young people from Asunción hold a great meeting with Santiago Peña

Colorado presidential candidate Hugo Velázquez questions the decision he will make if he loses the December elections and does not guarantee support for the winner. The head of the ANR, Pedro Alliana, criticized the position, although he admitted that it is no longer something new for him.

“Your statements do not surprise me at all, taking into account the attitude that this government took in relation to the Colorado Party that gave them everything, saved them from two political trials, one of them sung, and now they question whether they are going to work for the party in case of losing the elections”, the president of the ANR, Pedro Alliana, said in an interview with radio Uno, about Hugo Velázquez’s statements.

He recalled that, in the last inmates, when Mario Abdo Benítez was declared the winner, he himself accompanied Santiago Peña to admit defeat and from that moment they began to work for the ANR, as party members and respectful of the rules of the game.

He indicated that in the midst of the pandemic they were granted 5.8 billion dollars to show off their works and invest in what is necessary, but even so, they dare to question whether or not they will work for political nucleation.

“These are not Colorados, they are Buddhists. It is important that the Colorados open their eyes and know who they are”, Alliana affirmed and considered that Hugo Velázquez’s idea of even accompanying the opposition will not permeate the Colorado bases.

For Alliana it is very clear that the road map was already drawn up long before and that the true intention was demonstrated by allying with the opposition, after filling her mouth with speeches by authentic Colorados.
