A 21-year-old man lost his life at the dawn of this Sunday after being hit by a truck while riding a motorcycle.
The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m., they told The R Journal sources from the National Directorate of Highway Police. The accident occurred in the route 5at kilometer 70 of it.
According to what was reported, both the motorcycle and the truck were traveling along the route in the same direction, which was from north to south. At a certain point, the van collided with the rear of the motorcycle.
The blow caused two people, one 21 years old and the other 55, who were on the motorcycle to fall to the ground and suffer serious injuries, for which they had to be transferred to the hospital.
Once admitted to the hospital, the medical staff diagnosed the young man with severe polytrauma. On the other hand, the oldest presented polytrauma and was transferred to the Florida Hospital, while the deceased was taken to the Comef mutual insurance company.
