Young man deprived of liberty for sexual abuse against his stepdaughter

22 years for abusing a six-year-old girl

The 43rd Prosecutor’s Office of Zulia deprived Nervis Enrique Estrada Oviedo (21) of his freedom for his alleged responsibility in the execution of sexual violence against his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

This fact was detected on October 7 in the La Quinta sector of the Santa Rita parish, municipality of the same name in the state of Zulia.

According to the investigation, during that day officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) received an anonymous complaint in which it stated that the girl in question was the subject of sexual violence. in the hands of his stepfather.

Given the situation, a PNB commission went to the scene; where they were received by the victim, who informed them that Estrada Oviedo had been forcing her to maintain intimate relationships for three years. In addition, he kept her under threat of attacking both her and her mother if she ever reported him.

Consequently, the police commission arrested Estrada Oviedo at the site, despite the fact that he offered resistance; to leave it at the disposal of the Public Ministry.

At the presentation hearing, the Prosecutor’s Office charged Estrada Oviedo with the alleged commission of sexual violence in a degree of continuity and resistance to authority.

Once the elements of conviction presented by the prosecutor’s representation had been evaluated, the 1st Control Court in that federal entity issued the deprivation of liberty against the accused; in addition to ordering that he be temporarily detained at the PNB headquarters in Zulia.
