How does Young Rent work?
According to the official Social Prosperity website, “This program encourages access, permanence and graduation from higher education and complementary training through the delivery of conditional monetary transfers and manages new opportunities for social mobility through employment, entrepreneurship and postgraduate education.”
“Renta Joven began operating in 2024 and is integrated into the transfer system established by the National Development Plan Colombia World Power for Life,” indicates the portal.
Money is sent in cycles through payment methods, such as Daviplata. Young people can withdraw funds at ATMs or at authorized points such as Efecty, Tpaga and Puntored.

What is the next payment?
Fifth cycle payments will be made from October 18 to November 1. The beneficiaries will receive $400,000 and will be those who report enrollment corresponding to the second semester of 2024.
Until when can you register?
Registration for Renta Joven 2024 is open from July 20 to October 15. Those who do not sign up tomorrow will be left out of the program.
