Niurka de la Caridad Larrionda Valdés, director of the Ciro Redondo provincial hospital, explained to the outlet that after the 17-year-old patient was rescued, he was treated in those health institutions, where he underwent the first procedures and surgery that saved his life.

At all times he had blood, amines and antibiotics available in case they were necessary, ”added Larrionda Valdés.
The doctor added that after completing the surgical intervention, and taking into account the favorable evolution of the patient, the complementary analyzes were carried out and it was decided to transfer him to the Juan Manuel Márquez Hospital, in the Cuban capital, in an intensive care ambulance and with specialists. in angiology, orthopedics and traumatology.
