A young woman, identified as Ninoska Maryelis García Garrido, 28, was found lifeless in the La Parada San Rafael, Amazonas.
The autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation due to strangulation.
The Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) arrested Víctor Julio López, with whom the young woman maintained a romantic relationship and who is pointed out by the victim’s relatives as the author of the crime.
Neighbors say that on several occasions they heard discussions, but never imagined that it would end in a tragedy.
The authorities have not revealed more details about the reason for the attack.
