MADRID, Spain.- The young Cuban baseball player Xian Vega, 21, left Cuba in recent days for Nicaragua with the aim of signing a contract with a Major League Baseball (MLB) organization. Vega, a talented outfielder and infielder, is the son of actor Herón Vega and grandson of the iconic figures of Cuban cinema Daisy Granados and Pastor Vega.
