Around 400 young instrumentalists, chorus singers and dancers perform on the night of today (12), in front of Theatro Municipal, in downtown Rio of January?? The Natal Luz show, which will start at 7:30 pm and to haveTwo hours long, it will feature the singer and composer Ivan Lins.
The young people are members of the orchestras and choirs of the Brazilian Institute of Music and Education and the Nucleus of Social Orchestras of Brazil, in addition to the Children and Youth Choir of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Nasta Abdu Dance School.
O Christmas Luz has musical direction by maestro Anderson Alves and will be divided into three parts. In addition to songs by Ivan Lins, the repertoire will include classics such as trepak and Waltz of the Flowersin The Nutcracker (Tchaikovsky); carol bells (Mykola Leontovych); Happy night (Franz Gruber); oh happy day (Edwin Hawkins), among others.
The free event, held at the entrance to the Municipal Theater, will face the street.
