Reproaches, criticisms and controversy are due to the situation that occurred in the last hours in an educational institution in the city of Pereira.
The fact was recorded through a video in which several of the strong words that an educator throws at a student are heard.
“You think this is an asshole @ # $, that this is a game”, was one of the phrases with which the student of the Higher Technical Institute was initially reproached.
Then he asked him “are you stupid% &?”; as seen in the images that were revealed by the page Pereira En Vivo El Original.
Relatives of the young man reported the case
It was the same brother of the minor who stated that his family member had suffered psychological damage and that he no longer wanted to return to school.
For their part, the institution indicated they are investigating what happened.
José Daniel Ocampo, rector, assured El Tiempo that they knew the images when they were published.
“The rectory had no knowledge of the event, nor did it have complaints from parents or students. As a result of this, we have already started with psychosocial support for young people and their families, in addition to developing internal investigations, the results of which we will deliver to the Ministry of Education, as requested, ”he said.
For his part, Carlos Maya, mayor of Pereira, asked the educator for strong sanctions:
“No child, despite his behavior, deserves the treatment that this teacher has given his students. I request a disciplinary investigation and exemplary sanctions, ”he said.
