The political scientist Yoel Lisandro Solórzano was elected yesterday as mayor of the Bolivarian municipality of San Fernando, capital of the state of Apure, after the results of the first newsletter of the National Electoral Council, with 80.96% of the votes scrutinized and a blunt 95.82% in their favor, the Sanfernandino people massively supported the candidate of the great patriotic pole Simón Bolívar to lead the municipal management during the next management during the next management during the next management four years.
Upon knowing the results, Solórzano sent an emotional message of thanks: «Dear people of San Fernando, I want to thank him for having deposited in us all his trust. When I mean all the people, it is all the women and men who voted for us today and gave us this great victory. We are convinced that San Fernando must make a leap forward: to be a human municipality, intelligent and beautiful in the good sense of the word, and we will achieve it with everyone’s effort. »
He also highlighted the commitment of his team and popular bases, especially thanking street bosses, community leaders and living forces who worked amid adversities such as recent floods. «At a complex moment, they understood that political participation is vital, and today they entrust us with this task. We will not fail, we will dedicate all our effort to comply with the proposals presented ».
He concluded his message with a call to unity: «San Fernando is our passion. We will govern for everyone. Good night, and see you in the streets! ” The victory of Solórzano marks the beginning of a new stage for the municipality, under the motto of an inclusive and transformative government.
Apure will celebrate working after successful municipal elections
The state governor Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez, sent a congratulation message to the Apureño people for his courage, who despite the difficulties went out to exercise his right to vote.
In his words, the regional president said that this blunt victory is the best gift for the eternal commander, Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, and added that he is given a year of the great victory of President Nicolás Maduro, stating that all this will remain for the history of the state Apure.
He also recognized the effort of the basic structures, the street bosses, community leaders, heads of social movements, allied parties and the great patriotic pole, to whom he expressed his respect and congratulations.
He emphasized that the Apureño people will celebrate working, aware of the difficult times that are lived, referring to the onslaught of the recent rains fallen in the entity.
