The Power of attorney declared inadmissible this Friday the appeal presented by the defense of the mayor of Anguía, Jose Medina Guerreroagainst the preliminary arrest warrant for ten days.
The Second Criminal Appeals Chamber of the National Superior Court adopted such a decision because said judicial remedy contained a “material error”. Likewise, the court’s measure is unappealable.
At the hearing, he explained that the assistant to the mayor’s lawyer’s office mistakenly sent an incorrect file to the Chamber, which is why it is inadmissible and constitutes a “deficiency” either “procedural clumsiness”.

As it is recalled, the Eighth Preparatory Investigation Court issued on August 9, 10 days of preliminary detention against the mayor of Cajamarca, despite the fact that the request of the Public Ministry was 15.
The former secretary of the presidential office Bruno Pacheco pointed to Medina Guerrero as an operator of the alleged criminal organization headed by the President of the Republic, peter castle.

The prosecution has also detected that the mayor coordinated with the nephew of the head of state Fray Vásquez, a fugitive from justice. According to a call report, Vásquez communicated with Medina on August 30, October 9 and 10, 2021 on several occasions.
