Yenifer Paredes does not stop, like his brother-in-law, the former president Pedro Castilloto present appeals to the Judiciary. This time what she is looking for is to be authorized to travel to Cajamarca to participate as a speaker in an event called “Congress, adolescent power, powerful woman 2024.”
According to the request, Paredes wishes to be absent from Lima from November 28 to December 1 for that reason and, in addition, to accompany his father to the Cajamarca Regional Teaching Hospital.
The request, however, as reported by RPP, has been objected to by the Special Team of Prosecutors against Corruption in Power (Eficcop). The issue will be resolved this Thursday, November 28 at 6 pm in a virtual hearing.

Paredes, it is recalled, is investigated for the alleged crime of influence peddling after it was determined that she and her brothers David and Walther Paredes, and the former mayor of Anguía, José Medina, would be part of a criminal organization led by Pedro Castillo that was dedicated to fraudulent public tenders in Lima, Cajamarca and Amazonas.
In those places, according to the thesis of the Public Ministry, the criminal network favored front companies with public works tenders related to the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation in exchange for large sums of money.
At the beginning of this month, it is recalled, the Judiciary rejected a request from Paredes to change his address from Lima to Chota. According to what he alleged then, he has no job opportunities in the capital.
Yenifer is the sister of Lilia Paredes, wife of Pedro Castillo, who is in asylum in Mexico along with her two children.
