Yara Gasaui (31) comes from a circus family. His journey through this world took hold at the age of 16, when decided to perform an aerial cube routinein the circus of his father, Yasmín Gasaui, the well-remembered Tío Morocuá.

It’s beautiful wherever you look at it, kind and simple. Yara claims to have been afraid of heights, but that did not stop her from doing his show at the circus, he confesses that he does not live a life of luxury and, like anyone else, have problems, debts and that he is battling depression.
How long have you been working in the circus?
The circus is part of my life, since I can remember I was everywhere, helping dad bring the chalupas (shoes for clowns), helping mom sell panchitos, in short, over time, dad He taught me an act in the heights: the aerial cube.
Who instilled in you this art?
I learned from my father, for a moment I thought I couldn’t do it, but my father told me: “Daughter, the track is respected and the public the same”, but, once the minutes go by demonstrating what you know, the most beautiful thing is the hot applause from the public and fills us with joy.
Is this profession valued?
Today in Bolivia circus art is not valued, and the saddest thing is that it has weakened, to become as loved as my dad I find it very difficult, the world is too mechanized.
Do you consider yourself a sexy woman?
More than sexy, I consider myself a very empathetic person and that makes me look pretty and sexy.
Have you been asked to do a nude?
Yes, recently I was the image of Cuba Libre, which He always had imposing images with very admirable figures.
I did it in a very different way. For a moment I thought about giving up, the truth is that it wasn’t totally nude, but showing a lot of skin.
Do people think you lead a perfect life?
The reason is that sometimes people think that because you appeared on TV or are a public figure you have to be perfect, or they look for a little detail to criticize you, since we are all the same, I don’t lead a dream life, I don’t have a latest model car I have problems, debts, responsibilities, I’m wrong.
Have you ever suffered from depression?
Unfortunately yes, when one goes through this process, many people do not take it seriously and it leads them to make tragic decisions. Depression is not a game, it is a disease and a sad reality. If you have someone close to you with this, try to help them with positive advice because depression is not seen, it is felt.
