Yapacaní: One-year-old boy dies after being run over by a truck

A one year and 11 month old child lost his life this Monday, after being hit by a white van, Toyota Land Cruiser, with license plate 1103-IEH, in the municipality of Yapacaní.

According to the police report, the accident occurred in the 14 de Septiembre neighborhood, where Sergio UR, 52, was traveling aboard his pickup truck.or noticed that the minor was walking down the street.

The child was hit by the front right tire and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to the second level hospital in Yapacaní, where he unfortunately he lost his life.

The Traffic Police has already started an investigation into this incident and proceeded to arrest the driver and hijacked the Toyota Land Cruiser pickup truck.
