The ministerial cabinet will be made up of 15 ministers and their respective undersecretaries, who will lead the different portfolios during the next period.
In the economic field and as already announced, Gabriel Oddone will take over as Minister of Economy, accompanied by Martín Vallcorba as undersecretary. For the Ministry of the Interior, leadership will fall to Carlos Negro, who will be supported by Gabriela Valverde.
The Foreign Ministry will be the responsibility of Mario Lubetkin, together with Vice Minister Valeria Csukasi, while the Ministry of National Defense will be headed by Sandra Lazo, with Joel Rodríguez as number two.
In Transportation and Public Works, Lucía Etcheverry will take over the ministry, assisted by Claudia Pérez. In the Environment portfolio, the roles will be carried out by Edgardo Ortuño as minister and Leonardo Herou as undersecretary.
Cristina Lustemberg will lead the Ministry of Public Health, with Leonel Briozzo as undersecretary. For Education and Culture, those responsible will be José Carlos Mahía and Gabriela Verde, while in Housing and Territorial Planning, those designated are Cecilia Cairo as minister and Christian Di Candia as undersecretary.
In the productive sector, the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries will be led by Alfredo Fratti, accompanied by Matías Carámbula. For the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Juan Castillo and Hugo Barreto will occupy the main positions.
The Ministry of Social Development will be directed by Gonzalo Civila, with Federico Graña as undersecretary. In Tourism, Pablo Menoni will be in charge, along with Ana Claudia Caram. Finally, in the Industry portfolio, those appointed are Fernanda Cardona and Eugenia Villar.
In addition, the Planning and Budget Office (OPP) will be under the direction of Rodrigo Arim, supported by Jorge Polgar.
Prior to the announcement, the president of the Frente Amplio, Fernando Pereira, highlighted that the new cabinet “meets several objectives: it is intergenerational, progress was made in parity and it is a highly qualified team, which includes both representatives of the sectors and independent people.”
