After the unexpected defeat against Bologna, this Sunday Inter recovered with a resounding victory against Lecce (2-0) that takes them back to second place, fifteen points behind the lone leader, Napoli.
Inter took advantage of the puncture against Lazio of the leader, the fittest team in Serie A, to cut three points in the practically insurmountable distance that separates both teams and that, for the moment, does not worry in Naples.

Simone Inzaghi’s objective is to keep his team in second position and secure their place as soon as possible to compete in the Champions League next season, a position in the table that is going to be competed, since Lazio, Milan and Rome are also fighting for it and none is being regular.

Inter is second, fifteen points behind Napoli, too far away to worry about anything else other than the teams that arrive behind. Lecce remains fifteenth, with a cushion of nine points compared to the descent.
