Having fun in a healthy way, cultivating comprehensive development, is the Healthy Summer proposal for youth. The activities take place from December to March, with a central event in February: on Saturday the 11th, at the Jockey Club of Paraguay, they are preparing a festival that will bring together various musical genres and experiences in a safe space. In addition, there will be a previous concert on Saturday the 4th, on the Costanera de Encarnación.
In 2016, a group of young people perceived the lack of spaces to have fun without vices and cultivate integral development. That’s why they created healthy summer, “an initiative that addresses social, spiritual and physical well-being issues because we understand that we are integral people. With this objective, we try to promote activities that help our well-being in general, according to the purpose of each young person,” he stresses. Jonathan Szostakdirector of the organization.
Although the central event is a music festival, scheduled for February, the actions of Verano Sano (social work, conferences, activities related to well-being, among others) take place throughout the summer season, from December to March, and are articulated by ten working groups from different cities. The coordination is in charge of a team with years of experience, professionals in different spheres of production, communication, whose work allows the workshops to be expanded to four areas of the country (south, central, east, north), where in previous years they reached more than 25,000 people; and soon they plan to reach the Paraguayan Chaco and Brazil.
According to Szostak, “Verano Sano exists so that young people in Paraguay can have a space where they feel good, finding their purpose and being directed to the future that they have as people in an environment that attracts them with tastes and daily preferences of each one”.

The activities on Saturday, February 11 will begin at 3:00 p.m., in the Jockey Club (Av. Eusebio Ayala Km 4.5) of our capital, with the presence of representatives of the national gospel scene, such as Grifho; rock, with Fila 9 (from Argentina); the urban genre, with Funky; and electronic music, with DJ PV. In addition to the musical presentations, there will be games and a gastronomic space to share with friends and make new social connections.
Access will cost G. 50,000 (Between friends) and G. 100,000 (VIP). The purchase of tickets is made through Ticketea, both on its website and in its physical spaces. Admission for children under seven years of age is free.
In Encarnacion
With the idea of reaching more young people, the Verano Sano festival will have a musical day prior to the main event in Asunción, on the Costanera de Encarnación. The concert will be on Saturday, February 4, starting at 6:00 p.m., with free access.
With its different actions, Verano Sano has positioned itself as an option for young people and their families who seek to enjoy a different season, in which comprehensive development is a trigger for creating fun and experiences without vices and with values. According to the organizers, hundreds of people have made the decision to follow Jesus and join a church, or change their lives by participating in events of this type.
