World Wetlands Day: the State continues without enacting a law that protects them

In Argentina, 21.5% of the territory is made up of diversity of wetlands and, despite their high environmental value, these ecosystems are threatened and at risk of disappearing, which is why the country urgently needs a law to protect them and guarantee their conservation.

Although for more than 10 years different bills have been brought to Congress, in order to preserve the wetlandsUntil now, none of the projects has been sanctioned, which means that the State has a debt in favor of safeguarding these ecosystems.
