The activity was part of December 3, international disability day established in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly to raise awareness on the issue.

This proposal to bring what is done in the institution to public spaces had very good support from families, the community and different educational centers in the city of Melo.

“We played various types of games, we handed out brochures to those who visited us so that the population is informed” held.

The Exhibition began minutes after 9 and lasted until practically noon this Wednesday, December 3, under ideal weather conditions.

“We wanted everyone to know us, that’s why we went out to the square and in this month of December, which is precisely disability month” manifested to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.

“We worked all month, but we had just enough time to make this move on a beautiful day, therefore, the weather was also with us” Tabárez highlighted.

“The COPAHDIM students came with their families to see the exhibition of the works and participate in the different activities that were presented” he remarked.

“At this moment we are working with around 150 students between the two agreements, INAU and BPS” revealed.

Rosana Tabárez reported that registrations are now open for the year 2026. For more information, families are urged to go to the Headquarters located on Calle Colón almost Andrés Pariente. “There are always places. Sometimes in the agreement with INAU in TEA therapies they are on waiting lists, but they are always called” he stated.

For the summer plan it is not necessary to register. “It only applies to those who attended during 2025. It is scheduled to begin on January 7, it will extend throughout the entire month, and in February we already begin with the normal activities of the year” Rosana Tabárez concluded by saying.
