The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, instructed to extend the working tables of the Great Congress of the Historical Block of the Five Generations until this Saturday, November 16, to develop the concept of this revolutionary event.
The head of state called for the construction of theoretical, doctrinal, political and strategic definitions within Congress, and highlighted that to do so they have a strategic, sociological, sociopolitical, and sociocultural vision; as well as political and value hegemony.
“We already have the vision of the 7T Plan, fed by Congress and by the bases (…) Now we need the process, the organizational power, the empowerment,” Maduro stressed this Friday in a telephone contact with the plenary session of the revolutionary Congress and also asked to draw up a vision for six, 20 and 30 years.
The Historical Block
The first national leader recalled that Commander Hugo Chávez took the concept of the Historical Block from the Italian intellectual Antonio Gramsci and contextualized it in the Venezuelan reality of the 21st century, feeding it “from other colleagues with their theoretical contributions, who gave their vision in this stage of “the theoretical, doctrinal, political and strategic construction” of the Bolivarian Revolution.
Maduro called on the Five Generations of Congress to meet within a year to take stock and urged to convene other sectors of Venezuelan society to “make them fall in love with the idea of a 21st century homeland, a homeland in peace, independent, free, prosperous, happy (…)”.
