Inician Mesas de Trabajo con sector privado para fortalecer Sistema Eléctrico Nacional

The first work table was installed between the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), led by its owner Jorge Marquez, and representatives of the private business sector, with the aim of outlining joint actions that strengthen the National Electric System (SEN).

The meeting aims to reinforce the collaboration of the private sector in the development of the electrical field, given its strategic nature for the economic boost of the country.

The meeting was held in compliance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduroand had the participation of the presidents of the Federation of Chambers and Associations of Commerce and Production of Venezuela (Fedecámaras), Felipe Capozzolo, and the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (Conindustria), Tito López.

The coordination between the public and private sectors responds to the guidance of the head of state, who welcomed the interest of the business community in contributing to the formulation of strategies to optimize public services.

In this regard, President Maduro highlighted that both investments and local business formulas are welcome “for us to take off like a rocket in the generation of megawatts and in the stabilization of the service.”

This dialogue mechanism is part of the actions aimed at consolidating a robust, efficient and sustainable electrical system, in line with the 7T Plan for the Homeland: The Great Transformations towards 2030.
