He municipal Council from the capital of Venezuela, recognized in a solemn act the workers who built the Monumental Stadium of Caracas Simón Bolívar, located in La Rinconada. In the activity, the representatives of the working class valued the active participation of the workers and expressed their rejection of the unilateral sanctions against the country.
The president of the National Construction Union Yaczon Rivas, stated that in the construction of the structure, “More than 4,500 workers worked indirectly. We carry in our soul the commitment of economic reconstruction despite the sanctions that the empire has imposed on us”.
For his part, the president of the Municipal Council of Caracas, Jimmy Gudinorecalled that the working class “it is the historical subject of the Revolution. They are essential for the construction of the homeland”.
The workers indicated that the construction of the structure is a sign of the resistance of the Venezuelan people. The new Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium in Caracas will be one of the two venues in which the Gran Caracas 2023 Caribbean Series will take place.
