The Mission of the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force Deployed in Syria, this Thursday received recognition from the authorities of that nation for the support provided in the rescue efforts in the city of Latakia, affected by the devastating earthquakes of February 6.

The entity of the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace accompanied the message with photographs of the act of recognition of the Venezuelan brigade members.
Solidarity with Syria
The team of 20 rescuers from the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force arrived in Syria on February 9. There they were received by the Venezuelan ambassador to that country, José Gregorio Biomorgi Muzattiz.
