Luisi Paulina Movement Manages 5 CAIF in the city of Melo
The Luisi Paulina Movement is to develop initiatives and programs for promotion to women and the 1st childhood in order to contribute to the social transformation of communities, minimizing inequalities and prioritizing people who are in a situation of social vulnerability.
At this time it is managing 5 CAIF centers in the city of Melo: the house of Obdulia, Cidi, Las Flores, Obreritos and joining generations.
The Institute of Children and Adolescents of Uruguay (INAU) finances and supervises the plan, ensuring the integral development of children from 0 to 3 years, support for families and inclusion and equity in the centers.
Paulina Luisi promotes a comprehensive rights approach, promoting the development of the 1st childhood through safe links, women’s participation and equal access to opportunities.
“We meet periodically in person or virtual and there we elaborate the programming. Each CAIF has its activity, its program, its meetings and its organization. We have to gather in that way to project. We try to promote face -to -face in each workplace because the most important thing is to look face to face, be in the community, witness the difficulties, live them and try to solve them” expressed the Dr. Marta Table.
“We have an imprint like Paulina just, trying to be as friendly as possible because that is the way to achieve things, to succeed in what one projects and having a good coexistence in each workplace” He maintained the member of the Fiscal Commission of the Movement.
“We are achieving that beyond difficulties that arise as in any family where there is some friction, but at the general level we have a good affinity with all the working companions. That makes each of them get involved with the place, put on the shirt of each CAIF, of each place it represents. In that way we are seeing progress and success” He said during the live interview of THE PROFESSIONAL RADIO.
A work in human rights perspective
“We have to emphasize that all the teams, all the referents, are in permanent contact every week with Marcela Moura that is for us a very important bastion because the activities are brings together all week, and among all we put heads to give a solution.” He held the Teacher Lilian Oiana.
“In any of the centers we manage is like we are too. Welcome all who want to collaborate. From the Lions Club through Rotary and all neighborhood commissions have the movement of the movement. We want them to be more because this is renewed and that seed that we planted has to move on for boys and girls” said.
The president of the Board of Directors of the Paulina Luisi Movement in Cerro Largo recalled that in the CAIF centers children are served from 0 to 3 years. For this, there are teams composed of psychomotorists, psychologists and social workers. “We work everything in human rights perspective. Families and children for us are priority.” He emphasized.
“Those of us who come from the stick of integral education know the importance of active pedagogies today. That all CAIF centers, according to their context, are implementing it” Lilian Olano said.
