The company Energía Argentina began work at km 0 of the President Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline, after the Arrival of the first machines in Treatyén, Neuquén.
In this way, the ground is being prepared to make way for the construction of the gas pipelinework in charge of Energía Argentina, reported the state company in a statement.
The first trucks with pipes for the construction of the Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline were dispatched at the end of September from the city of Campana, in the province of Buenos Aires.

The gas pipeline, which will have an extension of 573 kilometers, will join the town of Treatyén in Neuquén and the town of Salliqueló in Buenos Aires, crossing the provinces of Río Negro and La Pampa.
Is about a fundamental work to expand gas transport capacity from Vaca Muerta to consumption centersrecalled Energía Argentina.
In addition, its construction – with a completion date scheduled for June 20, 2023 – will allow increasing the production of Vaca Muerta.
Likewise, will contribute to save US$ 2,200 million between substitution of fuel imports and reduction of subsidiesincreasing the availability of gas at competitive prices for industry, businesses and homes.
On the other hand, in a second stage, the extension of the Salliqueló gas pipeline to San Jerónimo, Santa Fe is planned, which will increase the transportation capacity of the main gas pipelines in the country by 25%.
