Women’s Under 20 team of Panama will participate in the Sud Ladies Cup 2023

A total of 20 players have been summoned by the DT of the Panamanian Under-20 Women’s Team, Raiza Gutiérrez, to play the Sud Ladies Cup 2023, to be played in Avignon, France.

The tournament will take place from May 14 to 19 and will be attended by a total of 4 teams, including Panama.

The participating teams are: France, Cameroon, Japan and Panama.

This will be the first time that Panama U-20 will participate in the female branch of the well-known Maurice Revello Tournament.

Next Friday, May 12, at night, the team will be leaving for Paris, France, where there will be a short stopover to later move to Marseille, and finally by bus to Avignon.

Some of the teams that have been present in this prestigious competition over the years are: the United States, Haiti, Germany, France, Gabon, Japan, North Korea, Mexico and the Netherlands.

Remember, that this contest will serve as preparation for the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship, which is scheduled to be held from May 24 to June 3 in the Dominican Republic.
