He Women’s Quota of the Sernatur Family Tourism Program offers a unique opportunity to travel subsidized by the State. This exclusive initiative for groups made up of women has 1,500 national quotas, with routes between the regions of Coquimbo and Los Lagos.
The maximum cost to beneficiaries is $25,000 as a copay. The call to apply for Women’s Quota de Sernatur begins on Tuesday, June 20, at 12:00 noon. To apply, it is necessary to follow some steps that are detailed in the platform enabled for the process.
In addition, it is important to comply with certain requirements established by the program: being a woman over 18 years of age, having a valid identity card and forming a group of at least 5 women, including one over 60 years of age. These trips, called “getaways”, have a duration of three days and two nights, from Friday to Sunday.
They will take place between the months of September and December 2023. The financing of the trips contemplates a state subsidy of 80%, which implies that the beneficiaries only have to contribute a maximum copayment of $25,000. Every trip of the Women’s Quota includes a series of services to guarantee a complete experience.
The destinations are focused on the regions corresponding to the group, being mostly intra-regional trips. However, in the case of the Metropolitan Region, those registered have the possibility of accessing destinations such as Viña del Mar, El Quisco, Lago Rapel and Pichilemu. The services included in each trip of the Women’s Quota are the following:
- Roundtrip transportation by bus.
- Accommodation in hotel or cabin.
- Full meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- Activities and guided tours in the destinations.
- Personal accident insurance.
