The second day of date 9 of the Women’s League of our country was completed and both Cortuluá and América de Cali ended up as winners in their duels that are defining the qualifiers for the second phase of the tournament.

The day began with the duel between Deportivo Pereira, a great revelation of this edition of the tournament, facing Atlético Nacional, which has important players on its roster like Vanessa Córdoba and Daniela Montoya.
In the end, the match ended tied at a goal thanks to the annotations of Vanessa Franco for the locals, after a pass from Ana Milé Gonzálezwhile the tie came at the end of the game, at minute 90+1 after a maximum penalty that was executed by Laura Aguirre.
The surprise of the day on Saturday came with the victory of Cortuluá against Deportivo Cali, one of the great protagonists of the last editions of the Women’s League. The game played in Raúl Miranda Yumbo Stadium ended 2-0 in favor of the local team.
At minute 11 Karen Urrutia scored the first goal of the matchwhile Melanin Aponza achieved the final 2-0 after a qualification from Karen Urrutia.
Finally, in the last game of the América de Cali date, which is the leader of the classification, defeated Deportes Tolima as a local and remains one of the favorite clubs to win the title.
Elexa Bahr opened the scoring at minute 9 after a clearance by Gabriela Rodríguez and at minute 67 the Ecuadorian Giannina Lattanzio appeared who managed to increase the score and in the end deliver the victory to the scarlets.
