TV Brasil – a broadcaster owned by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação – EBC – will exclusively broadcast the second match of the final of the Brazilian Women’s Championship Series A3, live, this Saturday (27), at 9 pm. The public broadcaster’s journey to the Vasco (RJ) x Paysandu (PA) decision begins at 8:45 pm with the pre-match that brings information about the dispute at the Luso Brasileiro stadium, in Rio de Janeiro.
Vasco won the first match – 2×1 – and has the advantage over its rival from Pará in the return match. Away from home, the team from Cruzmaltina beat Papão at the Curuzu stadium, in Belém, Pará. A draw would be enough for the team from Rio to be crowned champion of Série A3.
The final on TV Brasil will be narrated by Luciana Zogaib. The commentary will be provided by journalists Brenda Balbi and Rachel Motta. The team from the public channel will also report and follow the action at the Luso Brasileiro stadium. Marília Arrigoni will bring news about Vasco and Igor Santos will cover Paysandu directly from the pitch.
The broadcaster also broadcast the four semi-final games of the competition. To reach the final, Vasco and Paysandu eliminated, respectively, Ação (MT) and Vitória (BA). The four teams have already secured access to the Série A2 of the Brasileirão Feminino, in 2025.

The broadcast of the final stages of the Série A3 of the Brazilian Women’s Championship is part of TV Brasil’s strategy to increase the presence of the sport in its programming. The channel also currently shows the games of the Séries A1 and A2 of the sport, the Série B of the Brazilian Championship and the Women’s Basketball League (LBF).
Through the National Public Communication Network (RNCP), which brings together 98 affiliated broadcasters, fans from all over the country will be able to watch the matches and follow their teams in the fight for the cup.

How was the first game of the final?
TV Brasil exclusively broadcast the first game of the Brazilian Women’s Championship Series A3 final last Sunday (21). Vasco beat Paysandu 2 x 1 in a balanced match at the Curuzu stadium, in Belém, capital of Pará.
The Rio de Janeiro team opened the scoring with a goal by Graci just eight minutes into the first half. Vasco scored again with Larissa at the start of the second half, six minutes in. Stephany pulled one back for Paysandu in the 29th minute, but Papão was unable to turn the negative result around.
To reach the final of the Série A3 of the Brazilian Championship, Vasco beat Ação (MT) in the semifinals. In the previous stages, the Rio de Janeiro team beat Vila Nova (ES), Pinda Ferroviária (SP) and Coritiba (PR).
Paysandu (PA) beat Vitória (BA) in the semifinals. In the previous elimination games, Paysandu won a spot over Esmac (PA), Tiradentes (PI) and Atlético Rio Negro (RR).
About the competition
With 32 clubs, the 2024 edition of the Brasileirão Feminino Série A3 brings together the state champions or the best-ranked teams in these championships and the clubs relegated from Série A2. The competition is played in a tournament format with double-round knockout games with home and away matches. The four teams that reach the semifinals of Série A3 move up to Série A2.
