The Chamber of Deputies approved this Tuesday (21) a bill that determines the summary granting of urgent protective measures to women from the complaint to any police authority or from written allegations. Authored by former senator and current Minister of Planning, Simone Tebet, Senate Bill 1604 of 2022 was approved with wording amendments presented by the rapporteur, deputy Jandira Feghali (PCdoB-RJ). The report, which was read in plenary session by congresswoman Luisa Canziani (PSD-PR), had been approved by the Senate.

According to the proposal, protective measures may be rejected in the event of an assessment by the authority that there is no risk to the physical, psychological, sexual, patrimonial or moral integrity of the victim or her dependents.
