A recent People Media study reveals that more than 50% of women in Colombia actively participate in video games, challenging gender stereotypes in this industry.
The creators have strived to design more authentic and diverse female protagonists, with intricate aspirations, characteristics and degrees of evolution. This has resulted in a greater understanding and bond with these characters on the part of players, regardless of their gender.
Although there are still some games that employ sexualization as a marketing strategy, more and more titles feature more inclusive and less sexualized character designs. Women in video games can now wear appropriate and functional clothing, instead of provocative and unrealistic outfits.

According to a study carried out by Procolombia and the University of Los Andes, around 60% of Colombian companies dedicated to the production of video games is located in Bogotá, 10% in Medellín and the remaining 6% in Cali, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, Manizales and Pasto.

Likewise, having an ergonomic and precise gaming keyboard and mouse will improve the gaming experience.
- Immersive Sound: Good quality headphones are important not only to enjoy the listening experience but also to facilitate communication in online games.
