Miranda’s 2nd Court decreed a sentence consisting of 29 years in prison for Roraima Elisa Veramendi Jiménez (53), for his responsibility in the murder of his partner Octavio Suárez (65), which occurred on December 15, 2024 in the Santa Eulalia sector, Guaicaipuro municipality (Los Teques) of the Miranda State, the Public Ministry reported.
In the evening of the aforementioned day, the couple was in their home when they began to argue, which is why the woman took an aggressive attitude and grabbed a knife to proper a wound in the abdomen, which caused death on the site.
After what happened, the Fifidenaria asked the neighbors, who notified Cicpc officials, who moved to the place and arrested the woman.
During the trial, the 1st Prosecutor’s Office of the aforementioned jurisdiction ratified the accusation against the aggressor for the crime of qualified homicide. Veramendi Jiménez will fulfill the penalty at the National Institute of Women’s Orientation (INOF), located in Los Teques.
In another procedure, the Public Ministry charged the computer technician, Ricardo José Fernández Piña (29), for exercising psychological violence against a 26 -year -old woman, a fact detected last September 5 in Los Teques. That day, the victim went to the headquarters of the Municipal Police to denounce the computer technician who worked in her husband’s business, after she published online photos and intimate videos of her.
After research work, it was determined that the man published the contents for revenge, so he was arrested on September 9 near the Las Américas Residential Ensemble, located in the Mirandina capital.
