The American Jenny Rodrigues, who was on the hang glider that fell into the sea this Saturday (21), in Praia de São Conrado (RJ), did not survive the trauma and died, according to information from Hospital Miguel Couto. 
The tourist was taken to the emergency room in a very serious condition, where she died.
The pilot and owner of the equipment, who was flying with Jenny, died at the scene.
According to the Rio de Janeiro State Fire Department, the corporation was called this Saturday morning and headed to São Conrado to carry out the rescue with the support of aircraft, watercraft and an ambulance.
The accident was registered at the 15th DP (Gávea) and forensics are investigating the reasons for the fall.
