A woman who transported marijuana and cocaine in her vagina and tried to introduce it to a prison, was sentenced to 110 months in prison.
The Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Drug-Related Crimes of Colón and Guna Yala managed to obtain a conviction for María Ramos Campbell, for the crime of transferring drugs, to introduce them to the Nueva Esperanza prison, a fact that was recorded on June 21, 2022.

The 24-year-old lady was apprehended when, at the time of the review to enter the Colón penal center, it was discovered that she was carrying a package in her private parts, which when opened resulted in a package with 65.56 grams of cocaine and the other package with 83.11 grams of marijuana.
