A new fact of insecurity was registered in the capital of the country, this time the victim was a woman, a person which is part of Councilor Juan Baena’s work team witnessed the events. The first versions of her indicate that the woman was injured in her right hand after two men boarded her bus and intimidated her in order to take away her belongings.

According to the councilman’s complaint, the events took place north of the city, on 134th Street with Carrera 9, and a firearm would have been used in the criminal act.

Nevertheless, the Bogotá Metropolitan Police affirms that the victim’s injury was caused with a knifeMajor Jeisson Javier Cubides, commander of the Usaquén Police Station, spoke about the case:
“Two criminals observe a woman inside a SITP bus carrying $80,000 in her hand, these criminals approach her, the woman resists and is injured in her hand, fortunately without seriousness, at this time we are in search of these criminals carrying out the lockdown plan to achieve their prompt prosecution, “said the officer.

For its part, Transmilenio regretted the events and assured that the driver of the vehicle took the woman to a clinical center to be attended to, according to Councilor Baena and the Bogotá Police, The victim was not seriously injured.
