Woman lost one of her hands after a grenade explosion in El Bosque

A 21-year-old woman lost one of her hands this Wednesday, after a grenade exploded in the El Bosque commune, in the Metropolitan Region.

“High Complexity Prosecutor’s Office of the South Metropolitan Regional Prosecutor’s Office leads an investigation into the manipulation of a grenade that, when it exploded, caused the amputation of one of the hands of a 21-year-old woman in El Bosque,” the Public Ministry reported on its Twitter account.

In addition, from the prosecution they explained that the “first steps are being carried out by specialized units of Carabineros.”

At the moment it is unknown if more people were injured and the health status of the woman affected by the explosion.
