A 55-year-old woman was charged with the alleged commission of the crime against life and personal integrity (aggravated manslaughter), to the detriment of three people, after a head-on collision between two vehicles recorded on Wednesday, October 13, on Avenida Forestal, district of Ancón, where two adults and a minor lost their lives.
The Judge of Guarantees applied a personal precautionary measure of provisional detention, after holding the hearing this Friday, October 14, and considering that there is danger due to the nature of the event and danger to the surviving victims.
For his part, the defendant’s defense attorney announced an appeal against the measure, which will be evaluated in a new hearing on October 20, 2022, before the Superior Court of Appeals.
