Woman injured in the explosion in Barcelona urban planning died

The 76-year-old woman who suffered serious burns on the morning of this Monday, October 28, after a burst in one of the buildings in the La Estancia residential complex, on Centurión Avenue in Barcelona, ​​he died a few hours after being admitted to the Luis Razetti hospital in the same city.

According to the medical report, the woman suffered third-degree burns on 95% of her body surface and was identified at that health center as Beatriz Ochoa, where she was admitted to the burn area for treatment and from there she was transferred. to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Ochoa is the only victim of this new incident related to alleged methane gas leaks.

The woman lived alone in apartment 511 of tower V of the second stage of that urban planning.

With this death, the number of people killed by explosion and fire burns in less than 15 days in the state rises to 4. Anzoategui.

According to a report from the integrated Civil Protection and Firefighters system, the fire seriously impacted tower 5, affecting other apartments due to the flames and the shock wave.

In the same way, they assure that it is being evaluated by experts from the fire and explosion investigation department of firefighters to clarify the facts.
