Santiago.- Authorities are investigating the death of a woman found hanged in her residence in the El Dorado residential area in the municipality of Santiago de los Caballeros, for which her partner is being investigated.
The victim was identified as Rudelania Pérez Marte, 32 years old. The case is being investigated by the police authorities and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
In the community of Los Gajitos in the municipality of Constanza in the province of La Vega, a girl of approximately eight years of age died after falling into a well. The name has not been released by the authorities who are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Meanwhile, a bricklayer died and two other men were injured when three motorcycles collided in the tourist town of Sosúa, in the province of Puerto Plata.
The deceased, identified as Ney Melo, lived in the Miramar (Los Cocos) area of San Felipe de Puerto Plata, and died instantly due to cranial fractures.
