Woman ends up in the Tarma police station for burying an unborn child

A case that has shaken the district of Palca in the province of Tarma. An unwanted pregnancy had as its epilogue the death of an unborn child and buried in a field for reasons that are the subject of investigation.

On Wednesday morning, the police mobilized to the area to respond to the complaint of a neighbor, who summarized that a woman buried the body of a child in an open field, whose mother had aborted in the bathroom of her house, at five months of gestation.

The minor’s mother

After the complaint, the police arrived at Jirón Los Pinos and found Sindy Galarza Huaynates (30) who reported that her fifteen-year-old daughter suffered a motorcycle accident on the Central Highway and the afternoon of the next day, when she entered the bathroom, she discovered that she was going through an emergency as a result of a pregnancy that apparently she had hidden.

In her story, Sindy added that after five minutes the “newborn” no longer showed vital signs, so she wrapped his body with a towel and, at around 4 in the afternoon, took it to the Huacracán Palca sector and buried it in an open field. He never believed that the incident would end in the corridors of a police station.

He ended by saying that he did not know anything about his daughter’s pregnancy and that she was 5 months pregnant. The woman was detained to explain her participation in the death of the unborn child. The case is being handled by prosecutor Elías Revilla Zambrano.
