Agents attached to the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit detained a woman in La Guaira and seized 2 kilos 882 grams of liquid cocaine, according to military sources.
The detainee was registered as Francis Margarita Flores Tachón, who was about to board the Paraguaná ferry bound for Margarita Island at the La Guaira Seaport. The military searched the woman’s bag where they located three transparent plastic containers that were subjected to a test which gave a positive result for cocaine, the source said.
Flores Tachón was handed over to the Public Ministry for criminal prosecution.
