During an activity in Carabaylloas part of the events scheduled in his week of representation, the congressman Alejandro Cavero He was intercepted by a woman in the middle of the crowd. The event, which passed without inconvenience and brought together various residents of the area, was interrupted when the citizen broke into protest against the presence of the congressman, demanding that he respond by Inti Sotelo and Bryan painteddead citizens during protests against the regime of Manuel Merino.

So far, the congressman has only responded with a video in his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he assures that the protesters against him were a minority and that he received the support of most of the citizens present.

In 2022, the Avanza País parliamentarian presented a report before the Subcommission of Constitutional Accusations (SAC), in which he claimed that “the autonomy of the National Police of Peru (PNP) makes such plans do not require collaboration, permission or knowledge of the Minister of the Interior, of the President of the Republic or of Ministers of other portfolios “. While in his report the congressman Cavero acknowledged that the deaths of Inti and Bryan were the product of wounds caused by lead pellets in various parts of the body, according to death and necropsy certificates, he also said that “the PNP does not use or have your arrangement lead forgones “. Previously, Cavero It had already been the target of citizen demonstrations. At the beginning of December 2024, the congressman starred in an altercation during the celebration of Discophobiaevent held in the Lima Art Museum (Mali). Images spread on social networks show it with the broken shirt and without glasses, while escorted by the security personnel towards the exit. In the background, expressions of rejection by the attendees are heard, who shout phrases such as: “Outside, Mier*!” ** and “does nothing for the country!”

Speaking to Epicenter.TV, Cavero explained that he was at the party with his friends when a woman began to record it and to direct insults. According to his version, this caused him to discomfort and led him to snatch the phone. During the struggle, his pole and his lenses ended up damaged. In the video records the woman is heard demanding the return of her device with the phrase: “return the cell phone.”
The legislator says he gave the cell phone to a member of the event security team before leaving the place. While retiring, several attendees recriminated his political positions, reminding him of his comments against Peruvian cinema and his support for the Tudela law. Among the claims, it was heard: “Thanks to this honey*you cannot make cinema in Peru” **.
