Strong statements by Valentina González Acosta could be key in the ongoing investigation for her alleged sexual abuse inside the El Pedregal prison in Medellín.
An audio revealed by Jorge Carmona, defender of the human rights of the prison population, reveals the testimony of González, who indicated that on December 24 she was deceived by a person who initially told her that her former partner was outside waiting for her.
He assured that when he decided to go out, he realized that, although his former partner was not there, other people were there, among them a dragoneer and a woman who, according to her, were using drugs and invited her to consume.
“They offered me and I felt drunk. What the dragoneer does is grab me by the waist, he puts me on an inn, “He kisses me and touches my private parts,” said the inmate.

Valentina González’s statements also indicate an alleged threat, it seems, from the people involved in the events.
“I decided to report on the 30th, the dragoneer called me and that’s where a colleague from patio 18 warned me not to let me see the people I involved in the report,” said Valentina.
For now, and according to González, she was transferred to a prison in Manizales, so today her family asks for justice and speed in the investigation.
So far, INPEC has not commented on this situation.

Operators in Antioquia managed to rescue two kidnapped people
The National Army rescued two people who had been kidnapped by a criminal group in the Bajo Cauca subregion of Antioquia.
According to the authorities, the events took place in the municipality of El Bagre, where the victims were apparently detained. by men who belong to the Uldar Cardona Rueda substructure, of the organized armed group Clan del Golfo.
The initial information, validated by the same authorities, is that the victims were going to be murdered by men from the Gulf Clan.
