A 34-year-old woman was detained by officers of the Guanta Municipal Police (Poliguanta), allegedly accused of being the promoter of the kidnapping and prostitution of girls and young people in the north of Anzoátegui state.
This was reported by the director of that security agency, commissioner Orlando Miranda through social networks, where they detail that after the public complaint of the disappearance of a young woman identified as Mireidy Sanabria Rojas, 20, commissions were deployed to field investigations that led to the whereabouts of Sanabria Rojas and with her were three other adolescents, between the ages of 14 and 17.
In the same way, the police chief indicated that Francis Carolina Agreda, known as “la mona” was detained in the house where these girls were being held; and she who was pointed out by the victims as the person who kept them in precarious kidnapping conditions and forced them into prostitution.
Miranda explained that the events involving the young women occurred in the Sotillo municipality, and that the case was notified to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Flagrancy for presentation.
