A woman received a voice of arrest at the beginning of voting this Sunday (30), on suspicion of causing riot in the queue at the polling station located at Unieuro College, in Águas Claras, a city 20 kilometers from the center of Brasília.
She was denounced by a voter, who said she was embarrassed by the woman. According to the deputy electoral judge of the 15th Electoral Zone of the Federal District, Franco Píccoli, the accused, who is a party inspector, approached voters at the polling session asking them to shut up and not remain in place.
The party inspector was escorted by military police to the Federal Police Superintendence, where she will be heard and must sign a detailed term. According to articles 296 and 297 of the Electoral Code, promoting disorder that harms electoral work is a crime. In such cases, the penalty varies from 2 to 6 months of detention and payment of a fine.
Replaced ballot boxes
According to TRE, until 9:30 am, 11 polling stations had technical problems and had to be replaced.
In total, the DF has 6,748 sessions installed in 607 polling places. In all, 2,207,628 voters are eligible to vote.
